Angels
Soaring high, with the wind in our face
Sailing the clouds in a heavenly race,
Smelling the sky, with wind in our hair,
We have lived too much for our fair share,
Greatest buildings turn to ants,
Far away from humanly rants, nose-diving and gliding,
Wind through our wings, with melodious sky our lost voices sing,
Given to all, unheard lullabies,
With hills as our pillows under the sky,
Our the blanket the clouds,
Our nightlight the moon
Shutting tired eyes out of the gloom,
As the sun's companion, each morning we rise
Sailing the endlessly, forgiving blue skies
Lost love is forgotten but friends remain
In the highest of highway, in the endless lane.
