i am alone
I hate them
They worship him and make me feel small and not important
They treat him like a perfect angel and I’m the gum that’s stuck on their shoes
They tell me what to do and then they do everything for him
I don’t like coming home
She yells at me
He tries to help
I sit alone or go somewhere else
He gets praise and anything else he wants
I stand on the sidelines and just watch
He gets love and hope and happiness
I get emptiness and sadness
I feel scared and lonely
I feel sad and unhappy
I feel left out and not important
I feel what most teens feel
