The Cycle of the Inevitable
Tick, Tick ,Tick
Don’t let it stick
When it comes you’ll stay, unable to stray
Oh no
Tick, tick
Run away
Tick, tick
Don’t delay
Tick, tick
You get too close
And you’ll feel the most when it
Tick, tick, tick
You choose to stay, and make the memory
You laugh, and play while you can today
Then you hear
The tick, tick, tick
The clock will chase you on all hands
Run you out of the song and dance
Until the hour comes when you must go, and it
Tick, tick, tick
You cry and cry as the clock runs by
Now moving on, you sit and sigh
And you wish that you had enjoyed the time
Instead of thinking about the joy ticking on by
Because now that moment, while it once did tick
It now only ticks on in your memory

Although it's sad that the good things will eventually come to an end, it's better to live than to think about how it will eventually end. There's pleantly of time to look back once it's all over, but there's never enough time to live in the moment.
