“Suicidal people are just angels that want to go home”,
No they are people who feel so unloved,
So hurt,
So depressed,
That they want to end their life,
Because they think no one will care,
They think they are alone.
But they’re not alone,
Because I’ve been there too,
I know it hurts,
And I know it seems like no one cares,
I know how it feels,
That urge to end it all,
The feeling that ending it may help,
But something I’ve learned that’s very important is,
“Suicide is a permanent answer to a temporary problem”.
One day you’ll find a better solution to that problem,
It may be counseling,
Or getting professional help.
One day,
You’ll question your thoughts of suicide,
You’ll think to yourself,
“Why would I ever think of doing that”,
Because eventually everything will get better,
But you just have to wait for that day.
That band you wanted to see in concert,
That hobby you wanted to try,
That place you wanted to go,
That goal you wanted to accomplish,
If you ended your life here,
Those things would never happen.
You would never get to see and hear that band you love so much,
Go to that place that fills you with joy when just thinking about it,
Try that hobby that looks so fun,
Accomplish that goal and get that amazing feeling of triumph and happiness,
That’s why you shouldn’t end it here,
Because if you don’t,
Then one day you’ll be able to accomplish those goals.
Suicidal people aren’t angels,
They’re people who give up on life,
And want to end it all,
But that’s not the solution.
Keep living,
For your family,
For your friends,
For your pets,
For me,
For you.
