You are something that can ruin people
You can also be a heartbreaker to many
We have nothing to stop the pain
You are something that infects
You come and go like a cold
You are never fully away
You always come back no matter what
You have a hold on people
You attack on the inside which hurts
You don’t know when to quit
You may be a bad thing
Yet you bring people together
You are something
That something is called Cancer.
