Riding
Ride down the hill swiftly
swerve left and right
trying not to pick up to omuch speed
pass by trees tht blurr together
in a blob of green
feel the small bumps
dents in the road
ones would not have noticed if was walking
breeze brushes against face defiantly
causes hair to go out of place
close eyes
let the board take where it wants to go
stretch arms
the wind runs between fngers
focus on the beat of music playing
begin to sway to it
never want this feeling to end
never want to get to the bottom of the hill
open eyes
ending of the hill is approaching
begining to lose speed
push hair back into place
turn up music
lean to the side
turn right
start pushing
the next hill awaits

I wrote this poem after I went on a longboard ride. This poem expresses how I feel when I longboard.
