How others do well, I cannot see
Always lost trying for creative thought

Whenever expressing, I am caught
However hard I try to be
A versed writer I am not

Articles, papers, poems… I cannot
Words on paper are simply not me
Always lost trying for creative thought

Letters seem to have me distraught
This mind sees purely mathematically
A versed writer I am not

No matter how much time I allot
Best I can do, and still a B
Always lost trying for creative thought

It’s a skill that cannot be taught
Soon enough hopefully I will see
A versed writer I am not
Yet keep on trying, keep typing I ought.
