The animal in me
I wonder what it could be
I thought at length and frowned
Was I amazed at what I found!
I am easy-going, warm, loyal, and dedicated
Qualities as in a Dog much appreciated
As aggressive, and dependable as a Lion
When overcoming a challenge as a Himalayan
Ambitious, hardworking I call myself
I know value of teamwork as a Wolf
Sometimes I am impatient like an Eagle
But as sincere as an Owl on a steeple
Like a Fox my mind sharp and agile
When taking on a task fragile
I am gentle and graceful as a Swan
To water and swimming I am drawn
