the ocean of her
emptiness because she
mothers lonely lost skin
and screams against cinder
skies of burst and boom
over choking forests and

sometimes, i wish i could see the stars because i am comet dust and poppy soil. i wish i could dance on the moon because earth and heaven have always been my heart and home. mother nature is more like mama nurture, and i wish we would treat her better.
