In Taekwondo

I work hard
With discipline
I practice
Memorize
Learn
I look to my goal
With sweat
And precision
I know I can make it
Push up after push up
Kick after kick
Form after form
It is hard
But I love it
I learn something new with every class
My peers and seniors helping me
We are a team
We train together
Learn together
But we fight alone
Every test is up to the individual
If I fail there is no one to blame but myself
If I succeed I feel accomplished
The only person I am competing with
Is myself
That is its greatest beauty
Some go for the gold metal
Some want the blue ribbon
But me,
My goal is black
