tug of war
on either side of the rope were two people
me and a girl
before the game started, i shook hands with her
but she didn't shake back
i tugged
but my opponent violently jerked the rope out of my hands
she grabbed the rope and ran away with it
my hands were stained with tears and blood
and scratches from the rope that would leave scars
my supporters told me it was okay
and that it was only a replaceable rope
but it was not replaceable at all
because that rope was my friend
