Warm Nights
As we scream our lungs out to our favorite song
2:30 am. slowly opening that window
with the white moon shining bright
Shoes hitting a rocky pavement
running away holding each other's hands
Turning on the radio loud as the wind carries the tunes
we aren't coming back anytime soon
Laughter and smiles fills the room
everything in slow motion
Converse, Vans, and broken hearts are a part of us
Memories are made
cherishing our youth
When the night is burning
the world is awake
We reminisce about the mistakes we do not regret
because it’s part of who we are.
