In A Crowded Room
In a crowded room full of blank stares
I wonder if I’m the only one who cares?
An occasional shout across the room
With no reply, just empty gloom.
In a crowded room with very little space
There always seems to be that shining grace
A beautiful girl so dandy and sweet
A beautiful girl that’ll make you compete
In a crowded room with hundreds of men
This beautiful girl at it once again
Stirring up the crowd as if it was a game
She sends a rush through my body, sparking a flame
In a crowded room with little to no chance
I sit back in my chair only giving a glance
This beautiful girl begins to advance my way
The music gets louder and continues to play
In a crowded room full of blank stares
It seems that we’re the only ones that care
She reaches out with a hand giving me a chance
Taking me to the floor for a whimsical dance.
