The Ocean Speaks to Me in Waves MAG
My mind was full
Full of thoughts
Full of anxiety
Full of you
While my wet bikini
Was full of sand
I hated the feeling
Wet
Itchy sand
Was in every crevice of my bathing suit
I couldn’t avoid the fact that it was in places
It shouldn’t be
I itched
And scratched
And pulled at my bikini
But still I was covered in sand
I hated the feeling
Never ceasing thoughts
Filled my mind
I couldn’t avoid the burning thoughts etched
Into my mind
I thought about you
And the good things
But my mind was still covered in anxiety
I tried to wash you away with the sand
Take a dip in the cold water
And rid myself of sand and thoughts of
your ocean blue eyes in my head
But I was still covered
Covered in more wet sand from the ground
And still thinking about how when you’re sad
Your eyes turn gray
Just like how when the waves fold
They turn white
