A Peeping Window
Do windows look at the world the same way as we look at the world through them?
Do they have eyes, great glass eyes, that we never see, but they can see through?
Do they laugh as the things they see, or frown at the unpleasantries?
Are they pompous or snooty, or are they sweet and kind?
Do they have nice personalities, or would they be on your list of never-to-know?
What are windows like?
Are they alive at all?
Will we ever know?
Will we always feel upset when a window breaks?
Will we be emotionless wrecks?
Or cheery because we don't believe?
These are the questions, you are the answer.
