 I feel like a misfit!
No one knows my name.
I don`t know my name.
When I`m around people I try not to exist;
With my dark hair I slip into the shadows like the clouds in a grey sky.
When I`m alone I write this to remind myself that I do exist.
At school people walk past me like I`m nothing.
I used to hate it ,but now I accept it.
I stopped fighting when I realized I was nothingness in the form of a human.
I am in a prison of shadows.
If I didn't exist you would not notice.
I will always be alone no matter what.
I know what I am.

what a deep and touching poem! I love the descriptions of your writing as well as the emotions this piece brought across. Great job! PS Could you possibly check out my novel "The Art of Letting Go"? I'd appreciate it
