"What light is to the eyes - what air is to the lungs - what love is to the heart, liberty is to the soul of man.
Robert Green Ingersoll

I was wandering in lost circles with nowhere to go,
relieving myself with uselessness,
then your love started to flow,
and I started to sing with no hopelessness,

“You are the healing,
you are the mending,
You are true feeling
you are never ending.
You feed the poor,
you lead the weak,
you shake the earth to its very core,
and you cause the violent to become meek!”

I was trapped by the darkness,
clouds of fiery fire torturing me,
then You made my dark prison harmless,
and now I sing as the person I was meant to be,

“You are the shining star,
guiding people back home,
You are the humble czar,
helping people in need like a holm.
You bring out the best in people,
You tower the dark like a steeple,
You make Nature flourish,
and You grant free will so that humans can be pleasant or currish!”

I stumbled in the valley of the wicked,
oblivious to everything around me,
then You sent a light to guide me through the afflicted,
now I’m shouting, with gratitude, on my knee,
“You are the guider,
you are the finder,
you are the protector,
You are the defender.
You use those with pains,
to help release people in chains,
You rescue those who are astray,
and use their stories to make someone else’s day!”

I felt hatred towards bullies who caused me pain,
and so eagerly wanted them to scream, “This hurts!”
but then You healed my pained heart that was in twain,
and now I hum, while love for my enemies spurts,
“You heal people like never before,
you turn hatred into love,
People, while on your shoulders, will soar,
And people who feel Your peace will feel like a dove.
All humanity will keep on being saved by You,
and much humans will come to show their gratitude,
But there’s nothing we can do,
to show you, God, that we could ever pay off our latitude.”

I was really feeling happy because of God at the moment and this is how it played out.
