I can’t believe that you said what you did
I am a person not a that or an it.
People have feelings that you don’t consider
I wish that you had to feel them
And then you’d be bitter
The world is your oyster
You were told since you were small
You’re a jerk and a joke
I heard your words
And I snapped and broke
Now you need to be put
Together again with glue
Because your words were as sharp as knives
But mine were daggers
I would know what to say
And make you stagger
Don’t you dare blame me for this!
Blame yourself instead
You’re the one that hurt me
I’ve never done anything to you
You always try to say the worst things
About what I think and do.
If you thought about people other than
Yourself for one tiny moment
You’d see why I said what I did
And what it all meant.

I wrote this after someone at school called me an it that would never have someone love them.
