Darkened Love
Darkness is calling
its time to go home
A whisper calls my name
a hand holds mine
I look up into orange eyes
and know its him
The cold breeze surrounds us
he wraps his arms around me
For once I am happy
I feel happy and safe
His chest rumbles with laughter
and his arms tighten
We stand there as darkness falls
our portal opens and we strop through
I look back one last time
and know I’ve made the right choice
I belong back in the darkness
back with the boy I love
