Trapped in an endless dessert
Full of failure and dead promises
My face hot and schorching
My mouth longing for a sip
Of the cool waters of oppurtunity
To quench my raging thirst
Walking and limping
With the sands of bitterness
I search and search
For a sign of hope
At last my feet
Feel a trickle of a liquid
I look ahead and see
The oasis of winners and oppurtunity
