Awestruck
The breeze
makes the late afternoon chilly.
I spot a small clearing
and I see a beautiful sight.
I spot two fawns.
They still
have their tiny white spots
and flick their tiny ears.
The sight snatches
my breath away.
I hold in any sound
In fear they would leave.
I wonder
if they look at me
in the same
awestruck way.
