You left me as I stood threr in wait.
The days went by and soon began to blend,
Soon my love for you began to give way.
After an eternity of wait,
at last I felt your presence.
The warmth of loves last embrace.
Being held by you one last time.
As we both stood there,
you softly whispered,
"I love you."
As oyu slowly faded away.
I stood there once more alone
but knowing this time...
I would never see you again.
