Water
That flows slow
from the mountains and the hills
Diverged
to find new places
Slowly though
they start rushing to the goal
The sea
fast as possible
Shortest way
was all what they cared for now
Neglect
to any else matter
Where water
that used to flow over and through
Become
dried, parched, thirsting land
But notice
they never once did before
For all
paced too fast forwards
On a land
that had been luscious with life
Was now
dead and decaying
Water that
had once brought vibrant colours
Towards
a dull patch of earth
If only
they would slow down and observe
All that
in their surroundings
Perhaps some
may just find a better cause
Which can
bring a greater change
Dedicate
not simply to the greatest
But to
the most positive
If only we could slow
and bring back the vibrance

Comparing us to water, have we forgotten the ideas, or events that are actually most important? Just like fast flowing water.
