The Future

There are going to be days where you’re down,

Times when you are so depressed it seems impossible to even stand up and open your mouth,

Times when gravity is working double, triple, quadruple shifts in fear of losing its profession,

However if you spend all your time wallowing in despair you’ll just be another 25 year old on your parents couch, a living breathing example of depression,

Now trust me you don’t want that so put one foot in front of the other,

You’ll find a gas station where you can fill up and take a trip to the future it might take a few years but just go and simply discover,

You never know where your mind will take you,

Whether you can see your destiny from the top of the trees or maybe even just tomorrow’s simple goal from wherever you go,

Whether it’s your hipster glasses or your prescription lenses that help you see your future just go with the flow,

The currents going to get crazy but just be calm and don’t panic it’s not going to suck you under,

You won’t drown in the broken promises and failure to live up to expectations if you just keep your head above water,

So just breathe,

Inhale the smoke signals sent out by every single beautiful being but don’t just breathe the surface breathe beneath.
