A Writing Lesson
A writing lesson.
Just on subject,
For I’m not that good at form,
I need to tell you though,
How a poem’s born.
I add some rhyming bull to the mix?
To make ME seem clever,
But deep inside a poem is a very careful lever.
A balance between the pain we share
and what we know’s too sick to write
After all,
When you have a heart,
It can’t show
much insight.
