it all comes out in the wash
with the help of
soap and water
with tough sand
grit paper
of hands
with tide detergent
cleaning the blots
of red criminal
the handcuffs of trauma
were placed sharply on
my wrists the night
he told me I was
worthless
the innocense and
childlike charms
it all comes out in the wash

I like how you use the first and last lines as an emphasis--it's almost haunting since it's such an innocent phrase, against really gritty images like you use. very well done!   ((you did spell innocence wrong, though that's an easy fix :) ))
