Prisoner
It seems like I am caged.
It seems like my life is written.
Is it printed on a page?
Is my life worth quitting?
Am I just a prisoner inside
There is no joy anymore
It feels like I have died
I need to find my core
What is that I see?
Coming over the horizon
Is this a sign meant for me?
The sunlight is now arising.
I have found the light in the dark
A sweet breeze on my cheeks
It is time for me to leave my mark
I am strong after all those weeks
Free from my lonely cage
I now stand with my family
I’ve let go of the rage
Now I stand in pure amity.
