Last Words MAG
in the epicenter of my heart
is an earthquake caused by an “erratic thumping.”
they say it is godzilla
conducting an orchestrated nuclear war
and the blood that flows through my veins,
“Oh my! my! my!”
is like tiny waterfalls
overflowing through my body
as if from out- of-tune whale spouts.
they won't tell me if the wind whistling through the trees
counts as personification
and if there is a word to describe the action
itself.
“Oh my! my! my!”
tell me why my little sister
does not learn about Lucretia Mott
in school. they won't tell me!
yet they tell me of godzilla.
and the waterfalls.
and of a world after last words.
“Oh my! my! my!”
