"I loved all the boys with soft sad eyes and lost souls." -Grace Coddington

I am a flower petal within your hands
wilting at your gentle touch

You plucked me from a blossom filled
with “loves me” and “loves me not”
And I love the way your eyes have
A smile of their own, and the way
your strong hand brushes my cheek
When your lips envelop mine.

No one has cared for my body
the way you do; in sickness and health
My smile is painted with the pale
colors of a chin resting peacefully
on my shoulder, long fingers holding
mine, arms protecting me from the world.

And with each stroke of my hair
my heart whispers: he loves me,
he loves me not, he loves me.

His eyes crinkle when he smiles and I fall in love with him a little more every day. (#2)
