Yesterday's Future and Tomorrow's Today
Yesterday’s Future (Tomorrow’s Today)
Today I hate a lot of things about myself.
The clothes I wear.
How I style my hair.
That pimple on my skin.
My oversized chin.
My nose is too big,
My eyes are too wide.
My stomach might be sticking out on all sides.
My brain is too small
My feet just the opposite
And I’m getting another zit.
I’m not flexible at all
I can’t even stretch.
Maybe I’m not built right
Or maybe what’s next?
Everything I hate today will surely change,
For isn’t it true that not one thing stays the same?
