The waves of creativity
crash against the corners of my mind–

Where the cinderblock walls
of over-analyzation
intersect

Where the waves of emotion
surge and rage,
relentlessly pushing
and pressing

Where the thought-logged waters
rise to dangerous heights

Where the ocean
threatens to spill over....

The floodgates
suddenly burst open–

And words pour out onto the page
until I am dehydrated

So did you write this one first and then realized the extreme potency of those last few lines and turned them into a beautiful Haiku?? Well, either way I love both of them.

Love the imagery and personification! With such writing I highly doubt you ever have writers block. :). My only suggestion would be to talk 2 of the 3 "Where the's" out to make your piece more mysterious and less repetitive but other than that AMAZING!!!   *I'll be sure to read other pieces of yours since your great!
