Fear
Cornered and afraid
Anxiety building
Trying to wipe away the rivers of sorrow flowing from my eyes
Someone rescue me
Open the blinds and let the light shine through
Help me
Your smile used to light my path
Now all you do is blind me from happiness
I wish I could go into hiding
A rabbit burrowing into the ground
A gazelle running from its predator

Scared to live
Too young to die
Just save me
Save me from my pain
From my fears
You stare at me death in your eyes
A killer risen from deep within
My own shadow startles me
I just want to run away
Get away from you and your lies
You devious crook
You stole my heart and won’t give it back
Return my soul
The deal is off
I want out
