dont let people drive u crazy if you know its in walking distance

Much to weary have
I become,
of squalid fears,
and death while young.
in infinite sleep
how I wish to rest-
for how often I weep
is lost in breath.
Then, may my longing hope
surcease my sorrow,
of sanity, I wish to borrow.

The author's comments:
I wrote this after reciting Poe's poem, ''Alone''. And, personally I feel I am connected with Poe in some strange way, like if i were to believe in reincarnation I would go so far as to say I was Poe in a past life. (Although I'm not nearly as talented as he.)
