Oh, What to do
As we sit in the photo booth
I ask her for a kiss
she hesitates
Her answer isn't yes or no
She answers back
With the excuse
Of wanting to be unique
And so we do the hand heart thing or whatever it is called
The camera flashes and takes the first pic
We scramble for the picture which is her texting
And me crying
Ignoring me
As she grabs for a hat on the floor
I think to myself
Why does this always happen
Always repetition
The picture snaps
We scramble
She grabs a mask
I feel like i am ignored again
We leave the booth and grab our pictures
She heads to the next thing
And leaves me there alone
Thinking, plotting my next move
I like this girl
Everyone thinks I should give up
But I won't
Never
