Was like no other

Stuck together
like glue
Joking around
laughing hysterically
when we embarrass
each other
Hot summer days
spent talking and
laying in the grass
Too exhausted to walk
you’d pick me up and
carry me where we
needed to go
Bitter winter nights
we would curl
up in blankets
watching movies
all night
Fighting every
now and then
I don’t think
we would be okay
if we didn’t
Putting up with
the annoying flaws
and enjoying the
good ones
Somehow we
made it work :)
