Small Things
I was in love with a boy,
who was in love with the rain.
Who woke up every morning,
running his fingers through his hair.
He would take walks,
and imagine he was having an adventure.
He'd always scrunch up his nose,
when he wasn't sure about something.
He'd hum,
while waiting in line at the store.
Always roll up his sleeve,
before he wrote.
All these little things,
made me love him.
Even more.
