Red ink
Red ink
The same old mark
Another reminder of the failure you are
Tainting your work
Your achievements all gone
All that is left is your mind in a wreck
Red ink
Whispering to you
Telling all the truth of you
Failure
Failure
"Do you really think you can achieve?"
Laughing
Mocking
Snickering too
It never really does end
Just keeps reminding you,
That you have failed them again
Red ink
Hateful ink
Why do you feel the need to remind me
Remind me of a failure that I am
I cannot escape your judgmental wrath
So i'm left in a corner with a white pointy hat
Red ink,
Red ink
I can see what you say
All my hard work is going to waste
Yet try I still do, only to start once more
Oh red ink, i'll see you soon
