She Was Just Another Girl
She was just another girl, with a stained heart
By the ones before who tore it apart
A girl who as afraid to love, because of her past
She gave up on love such a long time ago
Because she knew that it would never last
Just a girl, who kept on falling, for the wrong guys
That only led her on and told her lies
Yes she was lost, in the world of which she had created
Alone and heartbroken, by others, in her mind, her own existence was faded
She walked around, with a broken smile, and eyes without a meaning
Her heart was so destroyed, that sometimes she wondered was it still beating
She said that she would never fall again, because love wasn’t real
Until one day, that is, she saw a boy with charm and appeal
He was tall, strong, and handsome, and everything that a boy should be
Be thought in her mind “No, not this time, all he will do is hurt me”
She began to talk to him, and be around him more
The more she was around him, the more she began to adore
The sweet and gentleness of his words, and laughter that they shared
She couldn’t deny what she was feeling, she want him more
He made her nervous, and the feeling did not come as a surprise
She was now in love once more, she couldn’t even deny
That he was everything that she wanted, in a man and a friend
She sat for nights on end, the thought of holding him and kissing him, drove her crazy
This had to come to an end, She often thought did he feel the same, or is he just playing her for a
fool
Another one of these childish games, which she had been through before
Or could this for once be something real, some new, and if so, what’s in store?
For she was nervous to let her feelings be known, but she had to tell him something
Because if he really had feelings for her, then they might be gone
So she sat and contemplated a plan, to make him her man
She would tell him, how she really felt, and maybe the feelings will be returned
Or if not, her heart would once again crash and burn
Once again into the flames those were caused but the others in the past
But she was determined to make it last
When they were both alone one day, they talk for hours about any and everything
She told him new things about herself, as he did the same
She began to feel so comfortable around him, that she could deny her feelings any longer
And everything feeling, and everything that she felt about him was growing stronger
She called his name so softly, and he replied yes
With a deep breath, she began to let the feelings go that were resting upon her chest
She told him how she felt, how he made her smile, and how she couldn’t stop thinking about him
And how the nervousness she felt before, was going away, like a light going dim
As though he was a glass, she poured her heart out to him, and now the weight was lifted off of
Her
Now she waited, on his reply
She sat and waited, as if a thousand years were passing by, now it was his turn to tell her how he
Felt, no lies
He was honored and flattered at the highest level; and with a strong reply
He said her also had feelings for her, he couldn’t deny
That he thought about her many nights, about her beauty and her individuality
But then he hit her with the sad reality
That his heart was still broken by a former love, and that he was a dove lost in the world, alone
Because he once thought that love was real, but the thought was now gone
He told her, how she had found someone new, and that she left him, with a broken heart and
How he was still falling apart
Her joy now soon faded, but she also knew exactly how he felt
How it was to have play with, and thrown around like cards that were about to be dealt
Yes, she knew his feeling oh too well, and in her mind she could help him, start new with her
To help each other repair each other’s heart and find out was love is, once again
Although he really wanted to do that with her, he could not
For his heart was still in a knot
And he did not know, if he would still run to his last ex
He told her that he could not be the one yet, until his heart forgets
He didn’t know how long that would be, be he said that they would be together you soon
Shall see
He told her not to be sad or mad
But she didn’t feel mad, she felt sad, although she was glad that her told her the truth
Her outlook on reality was now new
She would have to wake up every day, and know that he was not hers
She began to cry, but the tears were only temporary
One day I’ll find someone, someday
And negative thoughts i have about love will soon go away
