Left with a Shove
It left me with a shove,
This feeling called love.
I knew the feeling before,
But I didn’t know much more.
Now today I still,
Do not have the will,
To show love again,
‘Cause I’ll lose the bargain.
Love feels all warm inside,
But also is something I’d rather hide,
For there is really no one in whom,
I can really confide.
The feeling after I know is pain,
And you think that you’re going insane,
And the feeling seems so vain.
I wish I never knew love,
For it left me with a shove.
