The Liar
He is confident and self-assured
He is a tall, stalwart bloke
And when I hear him talk to people
He rarely ever chokes
He is a liar, a con artist,
a first class master of disguise
He is an exaggerating spy
who fudges the truth to get by
He has facts and figures and details
to support all of his bulls***
but when I check sources
there is hardly a morsel that exists
He is the most cultured man in the entire world
He can quote Descartes to Rothko
But did Descartes really invent the triangle or Rothko paint with lambskin gloves?
I did not think so
I can do my research
stay up all night preparing for fair debate
but he will never lose an argument
apparently he determines fate
Got a question?
He will provide an answer without ever missing a beat
But do not ever challenge what he says,
you will end up in inevitable defeat
It is not that being honest is difficult
or takes too long
Even when not addressed, he will answer
you will believe he is never wrong
