Sandy Hook
Christmas morning and I must say
I have to bury my baby today
No presents under my Christmas tree
'cause for Christmas to truly be,
I would need my baby here with me.
I go into her room, look at the toys on the floor
I guess the mess doesn't matter anymore.
The clothes in the closet hang
they still cause my heart this terrible pang
I wonder if St. Nick will visit her there
up in heaven where she'll live without a care
running around among all her friends
children that met such a gruesome end
so to all of the parents whose children one man took
Remember the children of Sandy Hook.
