My favorite nightmare

I dreamt you died last night
A bullet was placed against your head
Your fragile body fell to the floor
A small smile was on your face
I knew that smile
It meant that you were victorious
Your favorite song was playing in the background
As the blood flowed from your head it danced to the electric beat
It was a beautiful image
Even in death you’re ineffable
