Our time to be together
As limited as it is
Is all I need to keep me happy
All I need to live

I need you like the flowers
Need lots of sun and rain
Without you here beside me
There would be much pain

I wish we were together
More often than we are
I imagine I am with you
As I gaze up at the stars

This is our time to be
A time to call our own
I want to be with you
Don’t want to be alone

And though I’ve never told you this
I think that it’s time to
Make sure that you know
I love you
