Same;
We sing the same melodies
We play the same games
We make the same mistakes
And get called the same names
I detest you.
You are everything I hate
Everything I tried to change
Everything I hid
Everything I am
The resemblance is striking
I often wonder if you’re trapped in the mirror
Forced to dance as I do
Or could it be, actually
You’re just someone like me?
The world hates us
We are blemishes on the perfect medley of blue and green
We shout till our voices are gone
We wreak havoc in the lives of all we meet
We and earth simply don’t get along
But out similarities are undeniable
Believe it, everyone
We are all the same
We all want to survive
Any way we can.
