My love, you are lovely
Fragile yet strong
I wish to hear your heartbeat
And for mine to sing along
I miss you, my sweet
And your storm brewing eyes
And I miss your normalcy
I ponder with slight surprise
You're so different from me
But can we fit together
Like a lock does a key?
Are you the one for me?
My head says yes
You love me
You comfort me
You make me so very happy
But where is that magical spiritual ecstasy?
Time, I hope, is all we need
