Clandestine
Onyx eyes pop against porcelain skin
Searching all through me, coming from within
Coming towards me, faster, again and again
Let me indulge in my only whim.
Running faster than I could ever hope to
Smiling wider than I ever could
Sublime and sly when you ask to,
And I wish that you would.
The feeling when I see you
is something akin to
the rainbow after the rain or some other cliche.
It’s impossible to describe, impossible to delay
It comes surreptitiously and makes itself known
only after it’s come to claim you for its own.
