My Baby Girl
She was my reason for life, she was my baby girl,
She was so perfect, what I call an Angels pearl,
I would hold her, round and round we would twirl,
Her eyes were brown, so wide and full of love,
Her hair deep red, just like my Angel from above,
Her cries were so sweet, so full of joyful air,
She was my purpose, my reason to care,
There is nothing in life, nothing to compare,
She was profound, the star of my existence,
When I held her, I knew only persistence,
What I felt for her, was love with no resistance,
My heart beat because she was alive,
I truly lived, was for once able to thrive,
She was my life, my very reason to be,
With her in my life, I was truly free.
