if the wind swept me away from this small town,
if its gusts landed me in the middle of Times Square,
if my legs walked me into the trees of Central Park,
if i got lost between the shining skyscrapers,
if i could stand atop the Empire State Building,
if my dreams could melt into each avenue,
if i spent half of every day in a coffee shop,
if i was only given paper and a pencil,
i would be happy.
