Growing Pride
Yet another tradgity
Are we still beating?
We've fallen
A cry for help;
Can I?
Has the wound healed?
Can you speak?
When can you start again?
Or have they unplugged your respirator?
Why... Such a person... Would...?
So many questions, none ever answered
Now, in your death bed, you lay
Slow steady head,
Burning out
And to that last breath,
You continued our growing pride
