Like A Moth To The Flame
I am not whom I believed I once was
Now I shall seize the day, ruthless and unrelenting
All dreams of love shall die as cold as abandoned child in the snow
And all visions of hope will burn away like the moth drawn to close to the flame
Cities will crumble, elders shall wither, the earth shall rumble, the children are bitter
The heavens will tremble, as Hades is blackened, your hopes are never realized
Hourglass spins and spins, as every human will sin and sin,
We are just illusions of reality, as reality is an illusion made real by us
Attach your detachment and detach your enactment
The comedy is the tragedy, and the tragedy is the bittersweet melody
Preachers are crucified and the justified are omen of the final hour
Crimson shades decorate their faces, the loving embrace hatred
And an evil smile is the only light I'll ever know again
